Altea Suite Vault occupies an old-town building with a stone facade, on a pedestrian street only locals and silence-seekers know. Inside, the renovation keeps what is old —load-bearing walls, wood, ironwork— and adds what a hotel adds: viscoelastic mattresses, big towels, a coffee maker and silent air conditioning.

There's no 24-hour reception or restaurant: there's no need. We send you the door code, leave your breakfast ready in the suite and you decide when to step out. You're in Altea's prettiest quarter, two streets from the harbour bars.

For couples, short escapes and workation weeks with a view. From Altea, you're twenty minutes from Calpe, Benidorm or the coves of the Costa Blanca.
